Google ads in the Home view

Unfortunately, we have not been able to compete with apps like YouVersion who rely on their donations to fund their development. Because of this, we have had to begin offering Google ads in our app in order to help continue our development efforts. We understand that these Google ads can be annoying and distracting and so we've added functionality that removes the Google ads when any Bible is purchased from our in-app store. :)

Knowing that we had to switch over to include an ad somewhere, we really did not want the ad to always appear while you were reading the Bible text. Most Bible apps that offer ads always show the ad while reading the Bible text and we really did not want to mimic this implementation. Mainly because it would be horribly distracting. Our solution was to simply include an ad in the new home view which only shows once a day. Again any purchased content will disable the Google ads.
