Retired apps - How to transfer purchases and content to our NEW Life Bible app

Please watch this short video on how to transfer your purchases and content from your retired app to our new Life Bible app.

Part 1 - Backing up your content from your retired app!

1. Open your retired app and you will see an "Important Notice"
2. Tap BACKUP NOW
   
   
   
3. Choose to backup your content either by linking your Facebook account or creating a new Tecarta account. Already have an account with us? Tap Sign in with TecartaBible
   
   
   

Part 2 - Recovering your content inside our NEW Life Bible app

1. Download our NEW Life Bible app
   
2. Open the app and traverse through the intro screens until you see the following account page.  Tap the blue "Sign in" button. Sign in using the same method you used in your retired app (must be the same Tecarta account email used in the retired app version).
   
   
   
   
   1. If you accidentally closed out of the intro screens, not to worry! From the main Bible view, tap on the top right account icon to see a menu
      
      
      
   2. From the menu then choose "Sign in"
      
      
      
   3. Sign in using the same method you used in your retired app.
      

          Once signed in, verify your purchases and Journal data have transferred to Life Bible. Here's how to find your purchases:

1. 1. Exit the app menu and tap Bible in the bottom navigation
   2. Tap the Bible translation acronym at the top (i.e. NLT)
      
   3. Tap the "Purchased" tab
      

      Here's how to find your Journal data:

1. 1. From the Bible tab, tap the pencil icon on the right to go to your Journal
      
      1.  
      2. Verify your Highlights, Notes, Verse Notes, Saved Verses, and Folders are listed (folders will be listed at the bottom) 
         

Part 3 - Delete your retired app BUT ONLY AFTER verifying that your purchases and data appear inside our NEW Life Bible app.
