Why though? I know you said people want an easier name to spell and my goodness that is such critical feedback but this is a Bible app. What if the contents of this Book are also difficult to comprehend, will you also start editing the translations into simpler stuff that these simple humans can digest? Aren't you supposed to let the Holy Spirit guide you with regards to such matters as the limits of one's strength in spelling for example? If you can't really spell Tecarta but are in dire need of the Word of God, is the God of the Bible dead such that one cannot ask Him for help?? Let's not get carried away here gentlemen, and while we are on the subject...ads??? You have a free version and a premium version of God's Holy Word?? Shame on you.

WOW! I'm surprised at Siobhan remarks. I welcome Tecarta change from Tecarta to Life Bible. Hebrews 4:12 says "The word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword etc. Your comment that Tecarta will next edit the Vincent has absolutely nothing whatever to do with changing Tecarta to Life Bible. Anymore than the authorized KJV now having NIV, ESV, NKJV etc. I use the Tecarta (whoops) Life Bible ALL the time in my studying of the scriptures. They have a lot to offer. I personally believe you have grieved the Holy Spirit by your extreme criticism of Tecarta announcement. Perhaps you should bow in prayer and repent of your words and apologize to Tecarta. Did the Holy Spirit direct you to say what you said? I doubt it!

Colosdians 4:6 - "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."

Awww Hugh. Is my language not flavourful enough for you? Because that's what salt does to food. It adds flavour. I even said shame on you... come on... that right there is so much salt it's almost hot sauce :)

All I am saying is that changing this name to something easier to spell is encouraging folly and the God I know who owns this Book y'all are monetising does not stand for folly. He says:
If any of you lacks wisdom, he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5). ignorance... eh, naivety... maybe, folly... no.
