How to search for keywords inside your Tecarta Bible
- Please start your Tecarta Bible app (please make sure that you are using the latest version of the Tecarta Bible)
- Tap the magnifying glass icon (located to the right of the center navigation drawer)
- A search bar will appear and your keyboard will popup
- Enter in a keyword (IE: light) and then tap on the "SEARCH" key in your keyboard to perform your search (if on an Android device, you'll need to hit the magnifying glass icon next to the search box)
- You will then see a list of all the verses in the Bible that contain that keyword
- Searching for the word light will produce results for light, lights, lightning
- Searching for the word light [with quotation marks] will only produce results for light
How to search for keywords within a book
- First navigate to the book you wish to perform the keyword search in (IE: navigate anywhere inside of the book of Matthew)
- Then tap the magnifying glass icon (located to the right of the center navigation drawer)
- A search bar will appear and your keyboard will popup
- On top of the keyboard you will see a toolbar with locations to narrow your search. Tap on Matthew to search only inside the book of Matthew
- Enter in a keyword (IE: light) and then tap on the "SEARCH" key in your keyboard to perform your search
- You will then see a list of all the verses in the book of Matthew that contain that keyword
