Life Bible offers the ability to highlight and underline entire verses or single words. Choose from a palette of over a hundred different colors for your highlight or underline. Here's how to highlight/underline a verse:
- Open Life Bible
- Tap Bible in the bottom bar
- Tap on the verse to select it (when a verse is selected, a grey highlight will appear). You should see some actions appear at the bottom
- Tap on a color to apply
- To underline a verse, tap the "u" icon and hit any of the four colors to underline the verse.
To highlight/underline a word:
- Open Life Bible
- Tap Bible in the bottom bar
- Long-press (tap & hold) down on a word to select it. You should see some actions appear at the bottom
- Tap on a color to apply
- To underline a verse, tap the "u" icon and hit any of the four colors to underline the verse.
If you don't like the default colors, you can also make custom highlight or underline colors:
- After you have selected a word or verse, a list of actions will appear at the bottom
- In the color row, scroll horizontally to the right until you see a "dropper" icon. Tap the dropper icon
- Notice that some of the highlight colors now have dropper icons on them indicating you can edit those colors. Tap on a color to change it
- A color picker sheet will appear. Tap on a color that you want. You can preview what the final color will actually look like by watching the selected verse above.
- Tap on the checkmark to apply your chosen color.
To clear a highlight or underline from a verse:
- Tap on a verse that has already been highlighted. A list of actions will appear at the bottom
- Tap on the "clear" icon (the circle with a slash through the middle) located to the right of the "u" icon
