Rest assured, there are no missing verses in the Life Bible app. When we add a translation/version to Life Bible, we first need to sign a license agreement with the Christian Publisher who owns the translation text. We then receive a digital source file from the Publisher that exactly matches the physical copy. This means all the translations inside Life Bible 100% match the text from your print Bible.

Some publishers add footnotes to help explain more about a verse. The Life Bible app uses an asterisk to indicate these footnote. To read the footnote, simply tap on the asterisk and more information about that verse will be displayed. IE: John 5:4 in the NIV includes a small asterisk that helps explain the verse. 

If you wish to know more why a verse has a footnote, we highly recommend contacting the Christian Publisher of the translation and they will be able to provide a more detailed explanation and purpose behind the footnote.
